Twilight Dreaming
Last night we sharedone pillow –two heads touching softness, grey hairs intertwining, within and beneath us. Two bodies cradledtogetherbecoming onewith no beginningor endingor rough edges, just us layingwithout the expectationsof youth. And when I turnedto look at youI saw my reflectiontouching your face, kissing your lips, then closing my eyesto the understandingthat I was finally home again.
