We always look at others in full admiration for their greatness. We may want what they have. We strive to be what society tells us is perfection. The truth is that you came here to do great things. You are pure divinity.

I used to dance all the time alone in my room as a child and teenager. I stopped dancing years ago, sadly for several decades. Last year I began to dance again, a little every day. I don't have a dancer's body. I have a full belly, a very Latina middle-age body, that has done such amazing things for me. I get upset with it at times but then I am reminded that when I dance in the shower, or while cleaning or in the kitchen while doing dishes, my soul comes alive. I feel joy. I return to be a younger woman when things were full of magic.

I am so incredibly grateful for this body that encompasses my mind and soul. This soul is endless, infinitely traveling through multiple dimensions. It’s not my first rodeo. It’s most likely not yours either. So, I am starting to care more for her in ways I care for my children, my friends, and family. I am learning not to put her at the end of the list. This soul continues to create beautiful scenarios for me to evolve, grow and learn. What a fabulous place to be!
