We Create Our Realities

As a young child I had a heart condition. I was told that most likely I would not be able to play sports or do any strenuous activities. As a teenager I ran and was part of the cross country team. A cardiologist’s reality didn’t coincide with mine. It puzzled the cardiologists and my mother.

As a baby I had serious issues with my reproductive organs and grew up hearing I would not be able to have my own children. I did. I didn’t live in the medical world’s reality. I never owned all that was expressed to me.

About two years ago, an oncologist said something about my breasts and the likelihood of getting cancer due to my genetic background. I smiled, thanked her for the research (and findings) and told her, “Doc, with all due respect, I appreciate it but I don’t live in that reality!” She smiled and tried to make sense of my words because traditional medicine doesn’t live in MY reality. I’ve witnessed endless miracles due to my persistence in making my world extraordinary.

I have been told many things in my life that, had I taken as my reality, I wouldn’t have or done.

My reality isn’t based on others. I don’t perceive things the way another person might. My little world is not led by fears or traumas that paralyze my decisions. The experiences I’ve had have allowed me to grow. To learn. To heal. To expand in a million ways. I refuse to live in a victimized mode based on my past.

I am well aware of how globally we have been put on time out. We are experiencing such a massive shift and we are being cautious to not get sick or make others sick. But, there is a difference in being mindful and diligent, or living in a state of paralyzing fear. We will get through these times, darlings.

When someone points out that I need to be mindful of the world around me I agree. I see. I hear. But, my reality doesn’t consist of a world of fear. It consists of a world of love and compassion. My reality is pretty yummilicious because I get to see the best of this incarnation. I get to really feel the truth of our humanity.

No...darlings...I am not that naive or delusional. I am tenacious in finding the silver lining. I know the massive shit that goes all around us. I feel the atrocities in this world but I choose to have a reality that is uplifting and completely embracing of love. It doesn’t negate the crap. I am well aware of the injustices and sickness that also make the world. We live in a massive duality of consciousness. I perceive it from a place that doesn’t require arguments or judgment or whatever. I’ve learned long ago to stay in my lane as much as possible. Some days I am not successful and that’s okay as well.

Whether it’s physical, emotional or spiritual I get to decide how I exchange my energy. Who I share space with that lifts me. And in my reality I get to choose it through love. I get to let others think and be whoever they are. I don’t want you to change a single thing about you because that’s part of your reality. Let’s be clear, I really do love the world I get to see around me as I am.

I love you,

Millie
